| Event | Date |
|---|---|
| Last Date to Apply | November 10, 2026 |
| Result | December 1, 2026 |
The concept uses a dinner-date setting to introduce international guests to everyday life, food traditions and relaxed conversation with local hosts. Guests will join one of two city experiences, one in Helsinki and one in Tampere, each shaped around meeting hosts and taking part in curated programme activities. The focus is on genuine connection rather than sightseeing, with shared meals acting as the starting point for exchange about culture, daily routines and Finnish hospitality.
The intake is limited to 16 international participants across both cities, which keeps each experience small and personal. Because places are few and interest is likely to be high, candidates should review the stories, host details and participation expectations on the Visit Finland page before preparing their entry.
Visit Finland Finnish Dinner Date 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Only single applicants who satisfy the organiser's residency, age and interest conditions can be considered, as per the official notification.
Who the programme is for
The call is open to people of all nationalities who have a real curiosity about Finnish culture and daily life. Applicants must be willing to travel to Finland for the scheduled programme and to take part as individuals, with each person preparing and submitting a separate entry on their own.
