Eligibility Criteria

  • Chemical Engineering: Graduate Degree in Chemical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in First Division with NET/GATE qualification
  • Mechanical Engineering: Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech) in First Division with NET/GATE qualification
  • Civil Engineering: Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in First Division with NET/GATE qualification
  • Electronics Engineering: Graduate Degree in Electronics Engineering (B.Tech/BE/M.Tech) in First Division with NET/GATE qualification
  • Computer Engineering: Graduate Degree in Computer Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in First Division with NET/GATE qualification
  • Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC as per government rules)

Salary/Pay Scale Selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 37,000/- per month plus HRA. These positions are purely temporary in nature, and the fellowship does not confer any right to absorption or regular appointment in DRDO.

How to Apply

  1. Download and duly fill the application form (Appendix 'A').
  2. Attach attested copies of mark sheets, certificates, caste certificate, experience certificates, and publications (if any).
  3. Affix a recent passport-size photograph on the top right corner of Appendix 'A'.
  4. Candidates currently employed in Government/PSU/Autonomous Bodies must carry a 'No Objection Certificate'.
  5. Carry all original certificates and testimonials for verification at the time of interview.
  6. Report at DROMI, Brig. S. K. Mazumdar Marg, Timarpur, Delhi-110054, at 0900 hours on the applicable date (04/08/2026 or 05/08/2026, depending on discipline).
  7. Note: DROMI is located between Mall Road and Khalsa College (off Ring Road), near Delhi Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station (North Campus).
  8. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining, and no government accommodation will be provided to selected candidates.
