Specializing in the domain of fluid flow measurement and control, FCRI provides specialized scientific services including testing and calibration, research and development, and training and consultancy to industries and organizations across India. As a leading national research institution in this niche engineering domain, FCRI offers a unique environment for engineers and researchers to work on advanced problems in fluid mechanics, instrumentation, and flow measurement technology.
Why You Should Apply
This recruitment offers a rare opportunity for engineers to join a specialized government research institute working at the cutting edge of fluid flow measurement and control technology. With attractive government pay scales as per the 7th CPC, comprehensive benefits including NPS, gratuity, and medical reimbursement, and exposure to advanced research areas like CFD, multiphase flow, valve design, and industrial instrumentation, this is an excellent opportunity for both experienced professionals (Research Engineer posts) and fresh graduates (Junior Research Engineer posts) looking to build a research-focused engineering career.
About the Post
FCRI is recruiting for two categories of engineering posts: Research Engineers and Junior Research Engineers. Research Engineer posts are specialized and experience-based, covering four post codes within Mechanical Engineering — Multiphase Flow (RE-ME-MPF-001), CFD/Thermal & Fluid Engineering (RE-ME-CFD-002), Valves/Thermal & Fluid Engineering (RE-ME-VTF-003), and Fluid Flow Research (RE-ME-FFR-004). Junior Research Engineer posts are open across four disciplines — Mechanical Engineering (JRE-ME-001), Civil Engineering (JRE-CE-002), Electrical Engineering (JRE-EE-003), and Instrumentation Engineering (JRE-IN-004) — and freshers may apply for these posts. Selected candidates will be involved in research activities related to fluid flow measurement, testing, calibration, and related scientific services, and may be posted at FCRI, Palakkad, or anywhere in India as per organizational requirements.
