About the Post

Selected candidates will be engaged as "Associates" under the State Specific Graduate Scheme (SSGS), a component of NHIDCL's broader Scheme for Young Professionals, Expert Professionals, and Empanelment of Persons of Eminence. This scheme is specifically designed to promote and train local talent within the States/UTs where NHIDCL operates, enabling them to contribute effectively to infrastructure development in their respective home regions while simultaneously building long-term human resource capacity at the state level.

Associates will not be regarded as staff members, officials, or employees of NHIDCL. Instead, they will hold the legal status of independent consultants, engaged purely on a contractual basis. Their day-to-day responsibilities, as outlined in the Terms of Reference (ToR), will include assisting in project preparation and design appraisal (such as reviewing feasibility studies, Detailed Project Reports, alignment plans, and compliance with IRC/MoRTH standards); supporting construction supervision and project monitoring through field visits and progress reporting; providing contract and documentation support including correspondence, technical notes, and MIS maintenance; ensuring quality assurance and technical compliance by reviewing test results and site practices; and supporting post-construction and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) activities including completion documentation and defect liability period monitoring.
